The abduction occurred at 11 a.m. on February 21, 2025, right in front of his relatives at the Immigration Department office.Prakash’s sister, Nirmala, who had accompanied him to the border, recounted the shocking events. According to her, a group of unknown individuals dressed in plain clothes approached them, seized Prakash’s passport and visa form, and locked him in a room. The men then demanded that Nirmala leave the premises. Moments later, they whisked Prakash away to an undisclosed location.

A Family’s Agony

It has now been five days since the abduction, and there is still no information about Prakash’s whereabouts. His family is distraught and fears for his safety. Nirmala has made an emotional appeal to Pakistan’s Army Chief and legal institutions, urging them to take immediate action for her brother’s release.She said, “We were simply going to India for a spiritual pilgrimage.
