TANDO ADAM, SANGHAR🇵🇰- September, 2026: Two women from Tando Adam have alleged that their son and grandson have been missing since they were allegedly taken away by personnel of the B-Section Police Station on September 2.
In a video statement circulated by the family, Vajantibai and Kamalabai, wife of Hero, said that their son, Gobindram son of Hero, and grandson, Besham son of Gobindram, were allegedly taken from their business premises in Tando Adam.
According to the women, both men are members of the Hindu community and are involved in local trading and business activities. The family says it has not received satisfactory information about their whereabouts since the alleged detention.
The women have appealed to senior police authorities and human-rights organizations to establish the whereabouts of the two men and ensure that they are produced before a competent court if they are accused of any offence.
“If our son and grandson have committed any crime, they should be arrested according to law and produced before the honorable court. We want to know where they are and why they have been detained,” the women said in their video statement.
The family has called upon the Inspector General of Sindh Police, DIG Shaheed Benazirabad, SSP Sanghar and relevant human-rights bodies to intervene and investigate the matter.
Police position
At the time of publication, no independent confirmation of the family’s allegations or an official police explanation regarding Gobindram and Besham was located in publicly available online sources. The allegations therefore could not be independently verified.
Sindh Police’s official directory confirms the existence of B-Section Police Station, Tando Adam, under Sanghar district. The directory currently lists SIP Salamuddin Solangi as the officer in charge of the station.
Recent records from the Sindh judiciary also show that B-Section Tando Adam is handling criminal cases and that accused persons associated with cases registered at the station have appeared before courts. For example, a June 2026 High Court order concerned a criminal case registered at B-Section Tando Adam, while district-court records show other cases from the station proceeding through the courts.
These records, however, do not establish that Gobindram or Besham are among those accused or detained in any of the cases identified in the publicly available records reviewed for this report.
Family seeks judicial process and recovery
The family has demanded that, if the two men are wanted in connection with any criminal investigation, authorities should disclose the grounds for their arrest, register the relevant case where required, and produce them before a court in accordance with law.
The women have also appealed for immediate intervention to determine the men’s whereabouts and provide them access to due legal process.
The allegations raise concerns that can only be resolved through an official investigation, police response and, if necessary, judicial proceedings. Until such information becomes available, the claims of unlawful detention or disappearance remain allegations made by the family and should not be treated as established facts.
