Young Hindu Labourer Reportedly Killed💔 in Sindh Family and Residents Demand Justice

Daulatabad, Sindh🇵🇰

A young Hindu labourer, identified as Peeru Kolhi, son of Alam Kolhi and a resident of Daulatabad, was reportedly killed near Hamir Faqir Mor, close to Zardari Farm, in Sindh. According to family members and local residents, the victim was allegedly attacked after being suspected of involvement in a robbery. The claims have not yet been independently confirmed by police or other official sources.

Residents alleged that the incident has created fear and panic in the area. Local community members further claimed that the victim’s body remained on the roadside for several hours following the incident, sparking anger and protests over what they described as delays in official action.

The deceased’s relatives have demanded the immediate arrest of those responsible and called for a transparent investigation. They said that poor labourers and members of minority communities deserve equal protection under the law and timely access to justice.

“We only want justice for our son. Those responsible should be arrested and punished according to the law,” a family member said.

Community members also expressed disappointment over the absence of elected representatives and senior administrative officials at the scene. They urged the Sindh government and district administration to ensure a fair investigation and address the concerns of the affected family.

The incident has once again raised concerns about law and order in parts of Sindh, where residents frequently complain about rising incidents of robbery, theft, kidnappings and violence. Human rights organisations have previously documented concerns over the safety of vulnerable communities, including religious minorities, in the province.

At the time of publication, Sindh Police had not issued an official statement regarding the reported killing, and no confirmed information was available about arrests or the registration of an FIR. This report will be updated as more verified information becomes available.
