Karachi, Sindh🇵🇰 | 19 July 2026: The Hindu community in Karachi came together in a vibrant display of faith, unity, and devotion as the Jagannath Rath Yatra was celebrated with traditional Sanatan rituals at Lucky Star, Saddar. The colourful procession attracted a large gathering of devotees who participated with great enthusiasm, turning the area into a festive centre of spiritual celebration.
The beautifully adorned chariot carrying the sacred deities Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra moved through the procession route as devotees pulled the Rath while chanting “Hare Krishna, Hare Rama” and “Jai Jagannath.” The continuous recitation of devotional slogans, accompanied by bhajans, kirtans, and traditional music, created an atmosphere filled with joy, devotion, and spiritual energy.
Devotees of all ages, including men, women, children, and senior citizens, participated in the celebrations wearing traditional attire and carrying saffron and religious flags. Many sang devotional hymns, danced with enthusiasm, and offered prayers, reflecting the rich cultural heritage and enduring traditions of Sanatan Dharma.
The religious procession featured Vedic prayers, aarti, flower offerings, bhajans, kirtans, and the distribution of prasadam among devotees.
