🚨Three Minor Hindu Girls Abducted and Forcibly Converted in Tando Allahyar, Sindh🇵🇰

📅 Date: 13-07-2025 | 📍 Location: Tando Allahyar, Sindh, Pakistan

Another deeply disturbing incident has emerged from Sindh, Pakistan, where three minor Hindu girls were abducted from the Sultanabad area near Khawaja Stop in Tando Allahyar. This tragic event continues a growing pattern of forced conversions and marriages targeting minority communities, particularly Hindu girls.

❗ FIRs Registered Against Accused

Following the complaint of the grieving families, First Information Reports (FIRs) have been registered at Sultanabad Police Station against the following individuals:

  • Tanveer Brohi

  • Ali Sher Brohi

  • Syed Ahmed Punjabi

The abducted girls—identified as Lata, Meena, and Anita—belong to the Kohli and Meghwar communities, both marginalized Hindu groups in Sindh. The families allege that their daughters were taken without consent and fear they are being coerced into religious conversion and marriage.

💔 A Familiar and Painful Pattern

As anticipated, two days after the abduction, the girls were brought before the media. In a now-familiar sequence, they recorded statements claiming they had “willingly” converted to Islam and married their abductors.

This raises grave questions about the validity of consent under such circumstances, especially when minors are involved, and when the environment is charged with fear, coercion, and societal pressure.

🧒🏽 Forced Conversions and Child Marriages in Pakistan

This incident is not isolated. It echoes a broader and heartbreaking pattern in Pakistan, particularly in Sindh, where young Hindu, Christian, and Sikh girls are frequently:

  • Abducted from their homes or schools

  • Forced to convert to Islam under duress

  • Married off to their abductors—often much older men

There is no effective legal mechanism in place to protect these vulnerable girls. Despite repeated calls by human rights organizations, civil society activists, and legal experts, Pakistan continues to fail its religious minorities—particularly its minority girls.

Even international bodies like the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) have remained largely silent, despite consistent reports and appeals.

📢 A Call for Justice and Reform

The question remains: How long will this cycle of violence, silence, and impunity continue?
Where are the legal protections? Where is the state response?

Pakistan’s commitment to international human rights is being severely undermined by its inaction and silence on these critical issues.

✊ It’s Time to Act

We must raise our collective voices—across borders, faiths, and ideologies—for the safety, dignity, and freedom of every child.

🔴 These are not just statistics—they are our daughters.
