Rami Kolhi, a 22-year-old resident of Sindh’s Tando Alhiar, recently converted to Islam and now goes by the name Amina. She reappeared in Hyderabad after going missing and sought help from the Hyderabad Press Club. Her distress was evident as she clutched a certificate revealing her conversion at Dargah Bharchondi Sharif in Ghotki on October 10, 2023. The Dargah is known for converting Hindu women and girls and has faced criticism. The conversion raises questions about the future of her unborn child, who is yet unaware of any religion. Rami Kolhi’s husband is Chetan Das, and her father is Versi Kolhi.
