Sindhi Hindu Mother and Infant Daughter Abducted in Karachi🇵🇰: Community Deeply Alarmed

Karachi, Sindh- A deeply distressing incident has shaken the residents of Sindhi Mohalla, Jehanabad, in the Sher Shah area of Karachi. A Sindhi Hindu woman and her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Anmol, were reportedly abducted early this morning by unidentified men.

According to initial accounts provided by the family, the woman was taken away by three armed individuals who forced her into a white (silver) Alto car moments after she stepped out of her home. The case has sparked a wave of fear and concern within the local community.

The victim’s husband, Mukesh Kumar, who works at a factory in Ghani Chowrangi, revealed that his wife had been receiving threats for several days- a fact known to several neighbors who had witnessed the intimidation.

The abduction is reported to have taken place on 5 December 2025 at around 11 p.m., leaving the family devastated and the community demanding swift action. Relatives and neighbors describe the incident as not only heartbreaking but also alarming, highlighting the vulnerability of minority families in the region.

Mukesh Kumar and his relatives have urgently appealed to law-enforcement authorities, specifically SHO Pak Colony and SSP Keamari, to take immediate action to recover the mother and child safely. They stress the need for rapid intervention to prevent any further harm and to bring the perpetrators to justice.

This tragic event has ignited calls from civil society members, human-rights advocates, and the broader Sindhi Hindu community for stronger protections and a more proactive approach from law-enforcement agencies.

The family remains in a state of shock and anxiety as the search continues.
