DEV ANAND FIRST HINDU PILOT IN PAKISTAN AIR FORCE

Dev Anand, a Hindu Pakistani citizen, etched his name in history by becoming the inaugural Hindu Pilot Officer in the Pakistan Air Force (PAF). His commissioning took place on November 24, 2023, following his successful graduation from the PAF Asghar Khan Academy in Risalpur. Hailing from the Badin district of Sindh province, Anand holds a degree in public administration from China and is the younger brother of Aneel Kumar, a lieutenant colonel in the Pakistan Army.

Anand’s accomplishment marks a significant milestone for minority representation within the Pakistan military.
