Tando Ghulam Ali, Sindh
Tragedy has struck again as a 15-year-old Hindu minor, Soojal Meghwar, has been forcibly converted to Islam at a Madrasa in Matli. The distraught parents are pleading for their son’s return, but their cries are falling on deaf ears.
This incident comes on the heels of another forced conversion case, where 12-year-old Meghwaar, a Hindu boy, was converted at Bharchundi Sharif Dargah in Ghotki on April 20, 2024, by Mian Mitho.
The Sindh Renaissance News condemns these heinous acts of forced conversions, which continue to torment the Hindu community in Sindh. We demand immediate action from the authorities to ensure the safe return of Soojal and Meghwaar to their families.
The cycle of forced conversions must be broken, and the perpetrators must be held accountable. We stand in solidarity with the victims’ families and demand justice for the Hindu community in Sindh.
We urge our readers to share this news and raise their voices against forced conversions in Sindh.
