A Hindu girl who was abducted from Kunari city of Sindh has been recovered after a year.

Meena Jogi, a 10-year-old Hindu girl living in Kunari city, went missing when she went to buy something at a shop in her locality. The parents searched but could not find her, after which Meena was suspected of being kidnapped. After protests by the Jogi community, a case was registered at Kanari police station on the complaint of Meena Jogi’s father, Nebu Jogi.

The police registered a case, but no effective action was taken to recover the girl. The Jogi tribe living in Sindh are the ancient inhabitants of the region. They travel to cities and villages, make snakes dance by playing beans, and live by begging, showcasing unique spectacles.

This nomadic tribe started searching for the girl Meena with your help. Almost a year later, on December 6, a Jogi spotted Meena Jogi in the Jhark area of District Thatta and informed the people of his community.

In this regard, Ashok Jogi said that upon receiving the information, the girl’s parents rushed to Jhark and rescued the girl with the help of the local police. Meena Jogi has been returned to her home after a year and handed over to her parents.

The police have not arrested any accused in this case.
