In a notable event, Adesh Kumar, the son of Dewan Mangwar, a resident of Dad Leghari Road, Dharki, has converted to Islam. Influenced by the teachings of Islam, Adesh Kumar visited the residence of his neighbor, Pir Mian Javed Ahmed Qadri, where he embraced the Islamic faith.
Upon his conversion, Adesh Kumar adopted the Islamic name Abdul Rahim. Speaking to the media, Abdul Rahim stated, “There is no pressure on me.” His decision to convert was made willingly and out of personal conviction.
This transformation highlights the growing influence of religious teachings and personal choice in the region. Abdul Rahim’s conversion is a testament to the peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among different faith communities in Dharki.
